Yes you read that correctly, you have the chance to own the wand used by Alan Rickman when he portrays Severus Snape in the HP films. Not only that you would be doing a great thing for one of Alan's favourite charities. This from Twitter:

Definitely Marvin the Paranoid Android I've love him since I first read "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" back in the early 1980's and I still cry when Marvin pegs it in the books. I'm such a fan I have the TV series on DVD and the radio plays on CD as well as the complete set of books and of course the film on DVD. I wish they would make "The restaurant at the end of the universe" into a film as well.

Calling all fans of Alan Rickman, please join in with this and help swell the amount. It t's one of the charities which Alan is very involved with in fact he is on the board for it. They do wonderful work, so please join in and contribute.
